Load up a second instance and do your choke hits on that with humanization off. This instance would have humanization on. Do all of your drums on one instance of SD2.0 except the choke hits. This could take forever unless your sequencer does something like this automatically (I don't know of one that does).ģ. Turn it off and program natural variation into each hit's velocity (except the chokes of course). Turn it off all together, but you would lose the benefit of it on all the other hits.Ģ. I guess on the chokes it doesn't work as well. It works out well for most things like if you have several kick/snare hits in a row so that it doesn't sound like a machine gun.

If it's turned on (and it sounds much more natural with it on IMO), then any midi hit that goes into SD2.0 is varied by a random amount (that is limited to a certain range) on the velocity to make it more like a human drummer. I'm assuming that SD2.0 has the humanization thing like EZDrummer does.
